By popular demand, Sammy Kanofsky is back, offering a longer and immersive ecotherapy session!

Join us for a rejuvenating and connective experience at the Lafayette Reservoir where we will commune deeply with nature, ourselves, and community. This is a beautiful opportunity to further your understanding of Ecotherapy practices, while exploring the wisdom that nature can offer.

This half-day retreat will offer a spacious container to slow down and immerse yourself in the healing power of trees and water, and to deepen your understanding of the intimate relationship between psychology, body, and land. With expert facilitation and guidance from Sammy Kanofsky of Soul|Light Ecotherapy, you will be guided through nature connection exercises and reflective practices to help you relax and connect with your inner voice. Through a combination of solo, partner, and group exercises, we will dive deeply into the experience of profound sensory awareness and presence, as we connect with nature as a source of wisdom and guidance for our lives.

Light snacks & herbal tea will be served during a group council, with Q&A to follow.

Schedule:

*Please arrive early to find parking and be ready to begin at 1pm!

1pm Arrive & Welcome

1:15pm Intros & Guided Sensory Meditation (Grounding into Here & Now)

1:30pm Silent Walk to Group Site (Feeling Inner & Outer Awareness)

2pm-4:30pm Ecotherapy Exercises - Deep Dive (Group & Nature Connection)

4:45pm Closing & Gratitude (Integration)

5pm Return Walk to Parking

Our exercises and group exploration will center around these three core questions:

How can slowing down in nature support our collective mental and emotional healing (i.e. nervous system regulation) as human beings in these challenging times?

What can nature teach us in terms of connecting to inspiration, decision-making, and sense of purpose as therapists & healing practitioners? What can we, in turn, offer the living world in reciprocity?

What new ways of being can emerge in our lives and communities, when we take time to practice nature-connection? What might we create? How might we heal?

Note: This retreat will be capped at 10 people for intimacy, so don't wait to purchase your ticket and secure your spot.

This event is offered in partnership between Soul|Light Ecotherapy and the East Bay Therapist Community.

10% of all ticket proceeds will go to the Sogora'Te Land Trust in recognition that we live and work on native lands.

Sammy loves helping people find their path through mindfulness, creative self-expression, and nature connection. As someone who spent most of her childhood and young adult years living with a core of anxiety that kept her from feeling truly free to be her best self, Samantha discovered the profound benefits of forest bathing (unstructured time in nature) in her 20's and never looked back.

She is excited to support people of all backgrounds in accessing more joy, health, and satisfaction through coming home to nature in community.
